TechEd Grant

TechEd Grants are awarded to projects based around technology, whether the incorporation of technology into core curriculum or creating dedicated STEM projects to foster the building blocks to the telecommunications industry. 

The Peoples Impact Foundation (PIF) will award up to $5,000 in grant awards to public or private school districts within the Peoples service area for the 2025-2026 school year. All applications must be received in full by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Grant Eligibility:

  1. Applications must be from a public or private school within the Peoples service area.
  2. All applications must include a handwritten signature of the superintendent or designee expressing approval of the project.

How to Apply for a Grant:

  1. Download the application.
  2. Complete and submit the application by scanning and e-mailing: impactfoundation@gopeoples.net or by mail: PO Box 228, Quitman TX, 75783.
  3. The application and required documents must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Grant Application Review:

The Peoples Impact Foundation Board will review all grant applications competitively.

Notification of Grant Recipients:

The names of the 2025-2026 grant recipients will be announced on Friday, November 14, 2025. Each recipient will be notified by email, and the names will be shared on the Peoples website and the Peoples Impact Foundation Facebook page. Those applicants who were awarded will be notified individually by email. By applying, participants agree that, if selected, they are willing and able to provide photos and information related to the grant, which may be used by Peoples Impact Foundation for social media, marketing, and promotional purposes
